Every night before bed Ryan likes to get a little loud. His once subtle squeals have turned into full out screaming. We noticed that he is even more animated when his brother Grant is holding him. Here is a video of the two of them doing their thing.........

You Did It!!!!
Ryan got a late start at trying to get his walker to move thanks to silly mommy who didn't have the walker lowered as far as it could go. He has been working hard ever since and it will not be long before he will figure out he can go forward too. First taste of freedom!!!

Summer Time!!!!!!!!!!!!
Walgreens trip gone bad.......
Hard at work......
Stroll'n
Up until this point Ryan has hated his stroller. Basically he hates anything that involves him being placed on his back. We have started to notice that he is becoming more patient with it so we attempted it once again. Success!!! He had to have his bottle the entire time but we didn't have to take him out of the stroller at all. We'll take it!

Your baby can read in action!
Thanks to late night infomercials JR could not stop talking about getting Ryan the "Your baby Can Read" program. I have seen the DVD's a time or two because we have friends that bought it for their baby. I told him that we have plenty of time as Ryan was only two months old when he visited from Iraq. Dad was persistant and explored ebay to see if he could get it cheaper so that I would be persuaded. Daddy won because he found it for Thirty dollars!
Right now all Ryan cares about is the musical parts on the DVD and the rest is too boring for him. I thought it would be funny to take some cute pics of Ryan reading and convince his dad who is in Iraq that it was a miracle.....Ryan can read! Dad's a smart fellow and caught on to my sarcastic antics but it was a lot of fun. Ryan continues to watch his baby can read DVD's because now I really do want to see if it works....I'll keep you posted:)
wubbanub.....or thumb.......
We have a serious thumb sucker on our hands and have been trying every binky out there to fix this problem. The pacifiers that they give you in the hospital are sold online and come with these cute little animals attached to them and they call them wubbanubs. I bought several different animals in hopes to solve the problem. It is working in these pics here but we are finding that he just cannot resist the fingers and thumbs! Oh well.......I guess we will deal with that later and take comfort in the fact that if he is sucking his thumb then he is happy and quiet......something all tired mommies can appreciate:)
Another cousin!!!!!!!!!!!
